About
Carmen Heredia served as a Cabinet Member for Governor Katie Hobbs and as Director of the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System, overseeing acute, behavioral health and long-term care services for more than 2.5 million Arizona residents.
Throughout her career, Carmen has advocated for access to quality healthcare and education for underserved populations. Before joining AHCCCS, she served as CEO of Valle del Sol, an integrated behavioral health and primary care provider. She has served on numerous government task forces and boards and currently serves on the boards of the Center for the Future of Arizona and Contexture.
