Nicola brings over 25 years of higher education experience, most within large multi-college community college districts in Arizona and California. She has served in cabinet-level enrollment leadership roles focused on the full student journey, expanding access and addressing barriers to student success.
Her work includes guided pathways, success-coach networks, adult learner onboarding, Title V HSI grants, equity and athletics reviews, HR technology adoption, student onboarding processes and college climate initiatives. Nicola began her higher education career building internship and student-support programs and has led districtwide initiatives affecting employees across multiple colleges.
